Hi. I am working on my senior capstone design project and we are stuck. We are basically making a "hub" that converts a Bluetooth signal to an IR signal. We control the "hub" using a Nokia Series 60 phone. A Blu2i dongle from TDK takes this signal and then converts it to serial which is then converted to IR.

Anyways, we are trying to "discover" the TDK dongle using our phone in a java Midlet and are totally stuck. Does anyone have an example of JAVA code that discovers devices? Our phone just doesn't find anything.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention that when we use the phone's connectivity, it finds the dongle just fine. However, when our Java program tries to find the dongle, it can't find it or anything else (laptops, etc.).
