Hi all,

i'm new to bluetooth and have an exciting demand for start ;-)

I'm thinking about control a cell phone from Windows PC.
That means:
- automatically detection of the phone when it's in reach for PC BT-device.
- start phone call from pc by sending number to phone.
- get event from phone if call is coming in.
- accept/decline incoming call by pc.

Pls, could anyone tell me if this is possible? Where do I have to start? Is the SDK 3.0 applicable to develop a windows application for these demands?

Any information will be helpful. I'm a totally beginner. Are there any limitations for hardware to do this?

PC Connectivity SDK 3.0 is a useful tool for most of the features you described (please make sure that it support your phone). If your phone is not supported, you can also do many things via AT commands. To test the commands, you can use HyperTerminal program when you have first established a DUN connection to the phone.

For automated device discovery and connection to the phone, PC Connectivity SDK is not enough but you should have access to Bluetooth APIs of the Bluetooth solution on your PC ot create such a program.
