What is the maximum number of devices (phones) that are discoverable using a device search.
Is the returned info from each device (UIN # etc.) then enough to initiate a one off data transfer to each and every device? Basically I want to check all devices in range to see if they are running the same piece of software, if they are I want to transfer a data packet then move on to the next device. Therefore I don't want to be limited to 8 or 16 devices. You can have up to seven simultaneous service discoveries, as each one of them requires a link.

Is that in the case when a "search for service" rather than a "search for devices" is initiated?
I am only interested in devices rather than services.... Cheers Marek |

In device discovery there is no limit as no link is required. The information received from remote devices is enough to establish a connection.
