Dear all,
I am building a software which need to have a network connection (normally, by GPRS). But, it is too expensive for me to use GPRS connection when testing my program. Is it possible to use the desktop connection? That's, can I connect the mobile phone and the desktop by BT and share the network access. If possible, can anyone teach me how to config the mobile and the desktop? Thank you very much ps. My mobile is 6260, and I building my software by C++. Best wishes, Hang |

hi,
I have been thinking of your question for days, but couldn't find a good solution. What kind of network connection do you need? 1. If you just need the connection between a computer (or a mobile) and a mobile (to send data), bluetooth is faily easy to setup. (Two bluetooth phones can communicate with each other easily, maybe this is not what you want.) 2. With bluetooth, you can access LAN from phone through PC (refere to LAP-Lan Access Profile), a lot of USB dongle provide this profile. By this you can create the connection to the Lan (IP 192.168.*.*) 3. If your OS on Pc is Mac, glance through the google, the solution is not so hard. http://hacks.oreilly.com/pub/h/1671 4. If you need real internect connection on windows, then it's kind complicated. I can only give you some reference, maybe you have already read them. http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/mraento/symbian/bt-ap.html http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...*&pagenumber=1 After you figure out the choice, maybe we can discuss the configuration later. Good luck
