Hi dear friends,

Here I read ononokung said (see the following link) 7610 supports audio capture, I am thinking to buy one for my project.
Can anybody with a 7610 be nice to double check whether it support audio capture of MMAPI? Or any other phone support this? Thanks a lot.
It's no fun to buy one phone for a project , but later find out it can not help. I just wonder why Nokia declare not support audio capture if 7610 can do.

It's too bad Nokia even doesn't provide the least free support (even clear away features) in this forum, in SonyEricsson forum, at least they have one person to answer questions from time to time.

All Nokia Symbian OS phones since 6600 support audio capture in MMA, not that sure about 7650 and 3650.

That's really a good news for me, I was confused by this forum for quite a long time. And there is no way from Nokia document to check it out.

One more questsion, maybe a stupid one:
which phones are later than 6600? How can I know, from the name (like 6630>6600? ) or there is some document to refer to? I am interested in the following phones:
S60: 3230, 6670, 6260, 6630, 6620, now I know 6600, 7610 support Java audio capture.
S80: 9300, 9500
S40: 6230

I think all those s60 & s80 phones you listed support audio capture.
