Hi,
i'm trying to write a program that would take a picture and send it to an email address.
I've been looking all over for examples on that, but I can't find how to get/create the canvas for the initDisplayMode function.

This is what my code looks like so far:

Player player;
VideoControl videoControl;
try
{
player = Manager.createPlayer("capture://video");
player.realize();
videoControl = (VideoControl)player.getControl("VideoControl");

*******>>> the next line is where i'm having a problem, i have no idea where to get the canvas from
videoControl.initDisplayMode (VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, canvas);
player.start ();
byte[] pngData = videoControl.getSnapshot(null);
}
...
