I was also interested in seeing if Python will be ported to the 9290. The nokia site does not list the 9290 as a "Series 60" platform. In fact the device listing on the site doesn't list it as ANY Series platform... I realize this phone is somewhat dated now but can't afford to upgrade to the 9500 at this point but really like the form factor <keyboard and screen size> and don't want to move to another phone just yet. Hence my interest in looking for a more "lightweight" development environment for the 9290.
