I know how to get info about BT settings ON/OFF, Visible/Hidden in Symbian 60 v.1. , by using btstate.dat.

I can get the ON/OFF settings with SettingInfo.

But how can I see if BT is Visible or Hidden in v.2 (7.0s, 8.0a)?

I suppose you should call RProperty::Get(...) to retrieve a value using the KPropertyKeyBluetoothLimitedDiscoverable key. Anyway, I tried to define and set a property using the above key to make my device indiscoverable but to no avail. Has anyone succeeded in preventing a 8.0a device or higher from responding to inquiries?
