Hi all,
In my helloworld application i am showing a dialog with which i can enter a username( text editor) and a password (secret editor), i had used the sdk supplied sample code. I am testing this on P910i. But when i close the key pad (or key board), before entering anything in to the dialog (or while the dialog is being displayed), my program panics giving EKERN EXEC 3 panic no. I have written code (in similar lines with the Events application i got from the forum) to trap window server events and key events, so if i don't display the dialog, the program is not crashing. what is going wrong? How can in a dialog i trap key pad events such a case clossed etc. Thanks for the time arun |

You're running python on a SonyEricsson P900!? Cool! Where did you get the python installer for that?

Hi,
Oh i am really sorry. I had posted the querry in the wrong place. I should have done it either in User Interface or Symbian C++. appologies.... But the answere to the problem is to implement the ShutL function of CEikDialog and return EFalse from it. Sorry once again for the mistake. Thanks for the time arun |
