Yea, yesterday the Finnish mobile TV test was launched by a couple of media companies.... Nokia included. But there is this one thingy that i dont get straight, what kind of movies, or video is one going to watch from that small screened device. I mean, in real life, is anyone going to pay lets say 10€ per month just to do some news streaming blah bla bla. I am doing some kinda research where i am supposed to produce some video content for mobile devices. So i happened to ask some of my colleagues what kind of video they would pay to watch on a mobile phone and the answer was none. Seriously, a guy said that he cannot even buy a video capable phone.... I am not trying to undermine the device capability but where is the market, for that low quality small resolution video with some crappy sound, not forgetting the fact that 3G hasn't even really taken off in Europe and in America. I dont know but probably portable media players would suit this as they have higher resolution and larger storage capacity.
