Is it possible to set a network through my bluetooth connection so that i can access my pc and drag files from it i'm a complete newbie to all this so help would be most appriciated.

Nokia phones do not support Bluetooth FTP as a client. However, this use case might be implemented using RFCOMM protocol. On the PC Side you would need a program that connects to virtual COM port, mapped to a Bluetooth serial port. Bemused is probably the most well-known exercise doing something similar.
I don't know any commercial, ready solutions for this. -seppo Forum Nokia
