I am trying to get my application to play continuous audio on a Nokia. The audio data are synthetic, in other words, I don't want to use MIDI instruments or anything like that. Basically we have sound samples in the form of WAV files that we need to play continuously. Right now the way we are doing it is playing one WAV at a time but that results in a gap between files. Is there a way to reduce or eliminate that gap? I'm open to any suggestions.

Create and prefetch the next Player while the previous is still playing (maybe you do that already).

Other than that, there's nothing to be done if the implementation doesn't support true streaming.
