One of my customers want me to make animated and static color wallpapers. Which is the best software for this?
Is there any online tutorial that can teach me doing wallpapers?

You can use any drawing program that supports saving or exporting to bitmap files; Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Adobe PhotoShop, whatever.

Plenty of tutorials for those on the network; use your favourite search engine to find them.

For the phone's you're targeting, all you need to care for is the colour depth and resolution (screen size), and you find that info in the phone feature description ( http://www.nokia.com/phones ).

I have got working with Jasc Animations shop, and it was easy to make the animation.

So wallpapers are made of bitmaps? I thought it was gifs. Does I have to do anything more than to make a bitmap-animation with the same colour depth and resolution as the mobile, for it to work?
