I have a problem playing real streaming video in Nokia 6630.

While when I use its bluetooth connected to PC, it worked. PC opened real player, connected to the same video source and streaming was OK. And I found video was streamed in TCP.

I guess my mobile operator does not support UDP. Unlike PC version real player, mobile real player seems not support stream video in TCP.

I searched through nokia and real.com but none website gave me a firm answer.

Does anybody have any clue whether Nokia 6630 support TCP streaming in its embedded real player ? Thanks.

That is a good question, i have the same doubt. I am developing a homework about video streaming, and i have problems with the emulator nokia 60 series. I am unable to install succesfully the mobile real one player. Its give me the same error = System Error.

You cannot install binaries compiled for the phone (using ARM processor instructions) on a PC based emulators.(using Intel processor instructions).

Applications for the emulator need to be compiled from source code specifically for the emulator (instead of the target device = phone).

So anyone knows whether the embedded real player in Nokia is going to support TCP streaming ?

Does Real or Nokia have a road map for such feature ?

Well I havent checked the embedded realplayer since it cant play videos in .rm format (greater than 206X176)it supports .3gp ,mp3 ,amr,aac,mp4 etc.But realone player supports streaming tcp. Some operators block ports other than http so it may not work . I used gnubox (Hats off for XAN) used worked fine in my 6630 with real player but there as some problems in session initation I think due to mtu size( not sure, can some 1 explain) logs of packet capture below.

hi i am also getting this type of error.
when i m trying to make connection through http and getting the response i m getting -5120 error in nokia 6630.how can i resolve it.
plz help me
