can i use jpeg file to creat theme and how coz i saw my friend's uncle had creat theme using picture that capture by 7610. i try to open jpeg file from my computer but it just read *tdf file. i dont have such type of file so how to convert jpeg to this kind of format? i realy want to creat theme with my picture

Just use your favourite image editor that you use with Series 60 Theme Studio. Most image editors can be used to read JPEG files and save in a bitmap format that the Theme Studio needs.

If you don't know how to do it with your image editor (whatever app you use), consult its User's Guide, on-line documentation or some site where it is discussed.

i see, is that i use paint shop pro for the pixel progrem and how about when i creat new theme, i want to put in my own picture, so i have to convert it to bmp format but how to put in that picture for the theme?

When you open the paint program from within Theme Studio & the appropriate image for it is open, open also at the same the image you want to use.

Then see what size & colour depth it needs be. Resize, etc., accordingly, and then copy&paste to the Theme Studio image.

thank for your help, now i already can make my first theme. why the icon show in the theme studio and after install the theme to my phone are defferent. also i want to ask how can i convert jpeg using paint shop pro, i dont think it got this funtion
