Hello I am trying to get a sized snapshot with the default image encoding:

videoControl.getSnapshot("encoding=png&width=80&height=60");

or just:
videoControl.getSnapshot("width=80&height=60");

Both results in a MediaException: not supported format on the Nokia 6230 MIDP Concept SDK Beta 0.2.

The only accepted way is calling:
getSnapshot(null);

Testing it on the real device: 3650 everything just works fine.

Is this a bug in the emulator?
If not - is there a list of nokia devices supporting sized snapshots?

Please check again what I wrote, I was talking about the emulator:

Nokia 6230 MIDP Concept SDK Beta 0.2 (shipping with the nds2.2)

and the real device:

Nokia 3650

The Nokia 6230 MIDP Concept SDK emulates 6230 phone.
Nokia 3650 supports Series 60 Developer Platform 1.0 and
allows to specify video encoding (png, bmp and jpeg for
Nokia phones) and size of the snapshot screen (default 80x60).
Nokia 6230 supports Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0 and do not allows video capture and getSnapshot method attributes.
getSnapshot(null) means: use default attribites for current phone (png encoding and size 80x60 for Nokia).

Thanks for your answer - besides the default resolution for the 6230 (it is 160x120) everything is now clear and makes sense to me.
