Hi all,

Does somebody know how I can grab single images consecutively from the mobile camera (Nokia 3650). The VideoControl-class of the MMAPI with its method getSnapshot() isn't really usefull because it's too slow. I need at least 5 images per second. Image quality is secondary.

I'm also fine with a video stream but I need to get the color value of all pixels for image processing and have no use for Video encoded data.

5 images / second is a lot. Even with real digital cameras you won't find that fast image capturing in the mid-priced category.

Forthcoming JSR-234 allows burst capture where at least it is possible to get the maximum performance from the system although that high fps is still a tough requirement.
