my application appears to work fine on most phones. However the midlet appears to enter a paused state when left for more than 1 minute, on a 6600 & 6630.

I am guessing it has paused as a screen saver appears and the midlet appears to stop.

The midlet resarts with a key press, but i would like to avoid this.

If there is no user input while a midlet is running(key presses etc) the phone will enter an idle state and the screen saver appears.

The screensaver timeout can be changed under settings>phone>display , the default is 1minute but this can be changed to 30 minutes.

However I would be interested if there is anyway that the midlet itself can prevent this happening
