Hi Everybody,
I'm new to J2ME and in desperate search of solution. I uploaded a simple application to a web-server (no WAP gateway is installed there). I was able to download the app to Suns' WTK Simulator. However, I can't download it to my real phone. I get "HTTP Error 403. Forbidden". I checked - everythin is OK with the file permissions on the server. I suspect the problem is that the WAP gateway is lacking. Any ideas/suggestions/hints?? Thanx a lot for your time! |

403.6 Forbidden: IP address rejected
This error is caused when the server has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the site, and the IP address you are using is in this list. ------------------------------- the result searched from google |

An interesting thing: a guy from Denmark tried my link and it downloaded to his phone.
Hence, I think the problem might be with my operator /some operators who prohibit access to stuff on other web-servers except of their own. Does it sound reasonable?? |

A Mobilephone Provider acts like a ISP.
It is possible that your Provider blocks other Severs. to check this, got nokia Softwaremarket and try to Download a free Software. |

I tried - they only provide stuff for Nokia phones.
I also tried different sites - looks like my phone deals with browsing well. I wasn't able to find an app suitable for my phone (LG6070) though:( |
