I can use method platformRequest(String) to capture native events of cellular as for example, to have access functions of beginning and end of voice calls? When I can use this method, more specifically?Exists some API of the Nokia that I can use to capture native events of telephony of a cellular one?

You can use platformRequest(String) to make a call, but not for receiving one. I haven't tested it though, just tested it for calling the phone wap navigator, with an URL (and it doesn't always work with other phones ^^).
Check if the phone constructors implemented special API for that: for example, a phone implementing the Vodafone API is able to run a "resident" midlet which can receive different events, such as SMS, MMS, call (start, end). |
