I am bothering with this problem,please help me if u know the answer
description:
when using DirectUtils.createImage(w,h,0) on N-Gage QD to create a wholey transparent mutable Image ,I just failed, the Image has been created looks like Alpha blending is noneffective at all.
but it really works on 6610,3210 etc.even on 7610 ,it works well.

the problem begin with i found the primary drawing method (drawPixels()) i used on 6610 is inefficient on N-Gage QD. but i don't want to change the picture resource's data format to PNG format. so I create some transparent Images ,and drawPixels on these images's getGraphics(). all of these steps had been done during game init(). and in game loop ,i can use drawImage instead of drawPixels() to improve the painting speed. but as i mentioned before, the Image i create is none transparent .
if it's really a bug on N-Gage platform ,(maybe this method defined by NOKIA UI API is not implemented in N-Gage device) what can i do to solve this problem without changing picture resource's format to PNG format.
