Just to make sure that other people do not spend as much time on this nasty bug as I did: when u have too many active objects initiated from you current script, the bluetooth discover often (80% or so) crashes the entire python interpreter. Especially when a function calls itself iteratively in a new active object, any bt discovery somewhere else in the script will crash.

Could you be more specific on what triggers the crash? A short test case that demonstrates it would be ideal.
