Interpreter does not behave correctly when invalid encoding is specified.


Example:
Place this code inside module 'foo', and start 1.1.6 @ emulator.
"".encode(chr(246), "replace")

Then, start interactive console,
>>> import foo

This throws exception, as expected. But it also gives system -50 error. When one closes the interpreter, the system throws CONE 8 panic.
