Fairly new at this...I have some mp3 sounds I want to import to my 6101 for ringtones. How do I go about doing this? Also, is there any difference between
"realtones" and mp3's? I try to use the "transfer music" in pc suite and it tells me "no supported phone connected". Thanks for the help and patience!!

Hi there,

What I've done with .mp3's for my 6101 is:

First of all: re-encode the mp3's (after editing if required) to something like 32kbps. It won't sound great on your computer, but it'll sound OK on your mobile, and more important: filesize is a lot smaller! Then simply use the "Phone Browser" to upload the mp3 to the right folder.

hey im having problems transferring mp3s to my phone...
you said something about using the phone browser.. how do i use that? i double clicked it and nothing happens and ive tried dragging files onto it and nothing happens

could you explain how you did this?
