When i try to send files to other mobile from my mobile i.e nokia 6630 i fail to do so and get a error saying that "could not send protected objects". By the way i can send .mp3 and .3gp files i m facing this problem with .midi files or .jar or any other applications. Is there any way to overcome this problem. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Search for "Closed Content List" here (or the main http://forum.nokia.com/) for more details on the behaviour.

I didn't say anything about a solution. It was just a hint to explain what the feature preventing this is about. Anyway, a "workaround" is to rename the files before sending (and rename them back on the receiving side).

I don't know if you can disable this feature but you can send protectet items. You need a file browser for the phone(ex. FExplorer). With it change the file extension from .mid to .mid1 or something like that. Now you can send it.
