Plz help me. I am developing an application in J2ME targetting all Nokia 60 series & 80 series phones. (Symbian OS)
There I want to access native phone file system. lets say from the application clicking on a menu will open up the gallery foldeer and view the images / videos/ tones etc. as it viewed when we normally access the gallery. The problem is that by using JSR 75 API though I can access the native file system but it is supported by only Feature Pack 2 & 3 (NOT 1 which includes most 60 series phones). Can you tell me how I can do that? If not in J2ME then in which platform??? This is very very important to me. Please make it urgent. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks petrib for your reply.
I was desperate that's why I posted so many times. Sorry for that. As per your comment It means that I was right. coz I tried a lot with JSR 75. Anyways now that it's clear that complete file system access can be done with C++ only. Can you provide me some links or some sample codes where it's been implemented. It's very urgent for me. Thank You once again. |

Python does allow full access to the file system, the same as C++.
