ive just purchased a 6230i and when i try to use the bluetooth it asks me for a code ive tried 0000 and various others can any one help

When you try to connect for the first time with a device (A PC or a other Bluetooth Phone)
Then you can just Make up any Code you want. It is for your own security. You have to dial in the code on your own Phone, and on the other device you are connecting with. Good luck!
