how to set the property of COM port? -

I am a newbie. I am going to use the SPP protocol to communicate with a BT GPS through my 6600's BT. Now I am researching the famous BT Point-To-Point example
 Now I need a help : how to set the property of the emulate COM port, such as the baud rate? I am confused. Thank u!
