Hi,

I'm using the S40 emulator in combination with Nokia Connectivity Framework and my bluetooth USB dongle. I am able to discover real devices in the emulated environment, but I can't connect to them. (at least not using serial port profile)

This is the code i'm using (ofcourse with a try/catch block around it):

  StreamConnection conn = (StreamConnection)Connctor.open("btspp://btaddr:1");

Where btaddr is the address of the bluetooth device.


On my phone this works just fine! it connects to the device and pairs with it, although on my emulator it gives an IOException with the message "connection rejected".

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? As I said before, the bluetooth device & service discovery already works like a charm.

I have the same problem. I think that it happens because we haven't paired with the other device, and i don't know how to solve. I' use Connectivity FrameWork 1.2 too.

In the other hand, i use an BTBrowser to discover all devices and all services that they offers. I can search all services of others phones, but i can't discover services of PocketPC and BT-RS232, similar to GPS Bluetooth. Do you know why occurs?

Yes I think it's a pairing problem too. At this moment I still haven't found a solution.

Anyone here who can help us with this problem?
