Does anyone know if the new 6682 here in the US that is sold by Cingular can be unlocked?
Please let me know. Also, does anyone know when the E-Series are coming out and how much $$? |

I am sure it can be unlocked, but it's more a question if Cingular wants it to be unlocked.
I have been with Voicestream (now Tmobile) for quite a while now, and they have been good with the phones I have bought. I also confirm with them before I buy a phone that it can be unlocked. The first time Voicestream gave me the unlock code. The second time, TMobile said they didn't have the code, but they forwared me to Nokia, who gave me the unlock code after I gave the IMEI code. I have no experience with Cingular, so I am not sure how cooperative they will be. Next time you get a new phone, get it online. I paid $359 for my unlocked Nokia 6680 at www.exoticphone.com, whichout any contract. They also have a pretty good selection of the latest phones. |
