Probably no way to do it, if Microsoft has not provided some sort of "compatibility mode" for Windows XP/Windows 2000 apps (there is such a feature on Windows XP to allow installation of apps that fail to do so on Windows XP; you can use it to "lie" to the program that it is running on Windows 2000, Windows NT or other versions).
I don't think Windows Server 2003 intended to be used as a server is much of a target to test, develop and support desktop/workstation applications for. I also don't know why/how Microsoft could have released Windows Server 2003 as so incompatible with Windows XP as to prevent many apps from working on it. Your question is also not very relevant for a "Mobile Java" forum, is it?
