In my app, I've got several logical variables, which the user need to choose values for (e.g. Sound on/off). There's a kludgy way of asking for these, one at a time, using appuifw.query, but it's not ideal because the user has to go through several consecutive questions and also because the answers are always 'OK' or 'Cancel' rather than 'Yes'/'No', 'On'/'Off', etc.
Jurgen's got a simple form-based solution (http://www.mobilenin.com/pys60/resources/form.py), but this is structured such that there's only a few characters in a small font for each field's title. There must be a better, more official way to simply ask for one of these variables - what am I missing? Thanks Steve Litchfield |

You could use a Form with 'combo' type fields. Using the flag FFormDoubleSpaced will give you more space for the field titles. See pages 18-19 in PyS60 Library Reference 1.3.1.

Thanks, that worked fine! I'm working on a major update to Musician, with user definable settings and extra functions. Should have something by the end of the week, hacking away at this in odd moments 8-)
