Problems loading images -

Hi,
I'm having problems loading (decoding) large images on the phone. J2ME is not letting me load a mega pixel jpeg image completely in memory. It gives me an exception of low memory. It works fine for 640x480 but not for 1280x960. I think this might be related to insufficient heap size. The question is: - How do I change the heap size? - Also, could there possibly be some other cause for this exception? Thanks, Asad

Hi,
I think it's not possible to change the heap size by using configuration parameters, I mean, there's no way to use JVM parameters as we do in JSE (-Xms, -Xmx, etc). Some devices have "Unlimited Heap size" depending only in the available memory. Please send us the stack trace for the exception. Also let us know the device you're testing on.
