gday,

just a quick question, i own a nokia 6280 and i really dont see any point in pairing with another phone. I cannot look at their files on their phone once paired, as my mates samsung phone can look through all my files once we are paired. so is there really any reason that there is an option to pair with another phone ??

thanks

In S60 2nd ED FP3 Phones onward there is an explorer program.

In nokia phones you can send files via OBEX Push profile.
If you try to send to Samsung you cannot, without special software, freely available.

Samsung phone take no interest in the standard JSR82 and although they run java, the only way to get the file in is by over air or by browsing another phone. You cannot use bluetooth Java programs!.

To load from a blue tooth PC server on Music Juke box you must switch *OFF all security* on the server to allow download by bluetooth. You wont find any server Administrators likely to do that!!
