I am using a headset with sniff mode support with the 6310i and I am having problems exiting sniff mode from the 6310i. If I leave the 6310i and headset connected in sniff mode for several hours, I am no longer able to exit sniff mode from the 6310i. I tried pressing some buttons to establish a SCO link and tried making an incoming call but the 6310i never attempts to exit sniff mode or try to establish the SCO link. I am able to exit sniff mode from the headset side without any problems. I am able to answer an incoming call from the headset but the 6310i still does not establish the SCO link. Can someone tell me a possible cause for this problem? I am using sniff interval=0.5s, attempts=8, timeout=0. Thanks for your help.

Which software version of the 6310i are you using (enter *#0000# at your mobile)? If you are in sniff mode and the a call is arriving could you press *#2820#? What is happening? Could you provide a log file? In that case we would be interested in gathering more detailed information....

In certain error cases you will not get the BDA of the phone. If that happens then you should update the phone to 4.80, because in that version is a error fix. Could you provide any information from you, so that we could share our mail adresses? Currently I would not write my mail address directly here - this would open a door to mail floodings....
