Is S40 Theme Studio 2.0 a Trial Software? After registering and getting the required serial no, my S40 Theme Studio still displays "Nth DAYS LEFT IN TRIAL PERIOD"... whats the serial no for ?

Hi jtansim! Welcome To Nokia Discussion Boards!!

IMHO No!, S40 Theme Studio 2.0 is not a Trial software. You have to register the product after using it for 'n' days of evaluation period(Its free!).Then the message will not be displayed.

I guess the Serial number might be required for different reasons like Security, leagal issues, contact the users if necessary etc.....

Hi,

It sounds like you never activated the software. There should have been instructions accompanying the serial number that explains how to activate the Theme Studio. I haven't used this software myself but if you continue to have a problem write me and I'll download and install it to get the exact instructions.

Thanks balagopalks! Anyway, tried to re-enter the serial no but the option was gone ?! Also, tried uninstalling > reboot > and installing again... but it still showed that I still have nth no of days left...

The email from LicenseService@forum.nokia.com was no help either, it just welcomed me and that I have to paste the serial no when prompted (which I did).

I will still try to re-install it again, and hopefully can find a solution to this. Happy to hear any comments from anyone.

Please wait till the "n" days are over. after the n'th day a window will be popped up asking for the serial key and user name. On that window enter the serial number along with your Forum Nokia user name. I have been doing this for some other tools of Forum Nokia and worked fine.

The 'n days pending' alert just shows up even after registering the product. You can ignore that. After 'n days' the alert with not show, nor would you be asked to re-register the product.

Use that serial to register ur software.

Go to menu help > register then use ur username and that serial number for registering. I have just done with it

after trail period expires i registerd and got the serial key for it when i entering my registerd username and pwd the finish button is not getting activated it is in deactivate mode. and the message appears when enterd username

"Invalid username and/or Forum Nokia Username"

what's wrong im doing.

i re-installed this one but still it not activating.

help?????????????

Theme Studio 2.2 is obsolete you need to upgrade to the Free Carbide.ui Theme edition it supports all versions of Series 40 and S60 devices
