hi guys
why would a symbian phone reboot when i try to install a midlet when the midlet works fine on series 40 phone? is there any general reasons or do i have to go through every line of code. n70 and 6630 both crash and reboot when i try to install application but it works fine on the 6230!!! help appreciated |

damn, whats the app do, as i have a 6630, and it has never crashed during install of midlet, now maybe runnning a midlet, it may have but dont think so, it is fairly stable device

oh yeah, and on series 40, maybe device is MIDP1.0 and doesnt care about permissions for calling certain api's, but on 6630, which is 2.0, it does care, and thus wont let you call them if their restricted, but this should cause device to crash, just not to run your app
