Hi,
I have a Bluetooth Access Server (Linux Based). I am already running an application to send files to Bluetooth Enabled Mobile phones that found in server range, But the problem is that it prompts the user to accept Bluetooth connection & most users cann't see the prompt because Bluetooth connection prompt no alert screen (only a small beep in Nokia phone). Can anybody guide me or send me any software that can send the coding to mobile phone like text sms alert (ringtone or vibrating whichever user has set)when making connection via bluetooth. ? I need it urgently.........

Hi, I'm working in a system likely that yours. And I get the server sends the file like a message. I can do it using the OBEX Push service. When this service makes a connection with the detected device sends an alert and the device accept or denies the request. Actually I'm using Avetana as bluetooth's implementation over PC using J2SE (I try thi with Nokia 6620).

Actually this happens via Bluetooth as you have written.
When we send sms to othere number, it directly goes to inbox without prompting user & user can set an alert for that like ringtone, or vibrator etc.
I want same for Bluetooth connection. If you have any suggestion, Please write me.
This will be a great favor.
