HI
I want to use my Nokia 6270 to control my Laptop. What are the possible things I can do with bluetooth other than file transfer. For example is there any way to start/stop media player? OR anything.. Thanks for answering this stupid question ![]() |

yup this is possible,
on your pc, check what bluetooth services are installed, once you know this, search for mobile-tools which can use one of these services (most use serial-port connection) and your set to go! "For example is there any way to start/stop media player? OR anything.." PCremote is just one example. 1001 tools available. gr. S. |

I assume you want to use phone as keyboard or like tv remote. then you need to write your own server in java and a midlet in j2me using java.bluetooth.* library to read in commands
