I've been fighting the "S40 themeStudio 2.0" for a while and am at a loss.

I built a theme with backgrounds and icons and what have you not, then pressed "Deploy" only to have the phone tell me "Unable to open, theme corrupted". My first thought was some of my content was not working so now I've stripped out anything but the colour settings, so there are no files included in the theme, just some HEX values for colour settings. But I still get "Unable to open, theme corrupted" when I deploy the theme and try to apply it on my 6103 handset.

Have you guys any idea whats causing this? Any suggestions welcome!

I have the newest version of Theme Studio - 2.1 but it still has the same thing, creates themes that can not be read by the 6103. Try using Theme Studio 1.2 - it has less options but wallpapers and icons should work ok

yea i got the same problem with S40 Theme Studio 2.1
cant make a theme for 6230i same error
and try the 1.2 just now and yes that one do word to bad there no more options,

did you guys ever find out what the problem was?

Yes I too tried the same thing. Same error here with versions 2.0 & 2.1.

Are u guys at Nokia hearing ?

One more thing, if u put up a fix let it be incremental, dont make us download another 25Megs.

Got the same problem too. It's most likely one the files used in the theme that didn't mesh well when the theme was saved. See what I can come up with...

Back again...got an answer. Some files tend corrupt themselves during the saving process. Mp3, and movie files tend to be the ones that do it the most. Remove those and u should be good. Also get rid of the older versions, 2.2 is what I have & it works perfectly fine.

If this doesn't help or work, just create a whole other theme. Trash the one that doesn't work.

Also, this is a little off topic but if u guys know it would be a big help. The font that is shown in the wait screen, Is there a way to change the color??

! SOLVED !
Themefile mytheme.nth is just .zip file containing images and the .xml file. There seems to be no difference between files made with v1.2 or 2.2 but theme made with v2.2 does not work!
For the phone nokia 6230i must be done with Nokia Series 40 ThemeStudio 1.2, do not update to new version!

(my phone is 6230i, V3.30)
