ican any one help me with it... i want to create an api for pc to 6600 connectivity via bluetooth!

can any1 guide me

1) whether its possible or not?
2) what are the requirments?
3) what tools are needed?

Have you tried PC Connectivty 3.1 that works with Pc suite version 6.6,all downloadable from the nokia web site, get a bluetooth USB adapter version 1.0 which is XP service pack 2 compatable, cambridge radio or belkin 1.0,
the use the api in VB or Vc++ to open connections.
If you want j2me, load the Sun wireless toolkit version 2.3 and the Nokia Developer now called carbide.j and build programs then send them to bluetooth phone via PC Suite v6.6 or now new version 6.8

Lots of examples from Sun Wireless toolkit work in the 6600.

hey i checked out the benhui site n its really good i m tried to run few programs but i keep on getting [ "java.lang.class" missing ] error most of the programs are runing on the mobile but when u do the simulations there are problems.....

have u tried the "Connecting PC and Phone with Java Bluetooth API - Part 1,part-2" on http://www.benhui.net/modules.php?name=Bluetooth i m trying to run the simulation in J2ME but i m having lots of problems... if worked on it then plz help me

no i'vent tried PC suite, i've heard about it alot but i m not sure that i'll have enough time to look on it but thanx alot

You have turned on the JSR82 libary in the Bluetooth emulator. The message you get sounds like the JSR82 bluetooth libraries are not getting loaded.

Wirless communication must be on. THE BOX MUST BE TICKED.

yeah i tried that; still the same error, can i send u the code so u can look at it....one of my friend gave me. the program is about making general discovery and also sending data to the pc.....well the problem that i've got the jar file n its working fine on nokia6600 but i m not able to run the simulation successfully....it would be great if u help me thanks

Well it worked for me. It was the first program i built. I built it using command line using a dos .bat file and the Javac command line . It took weeks to build the .bat script file. So I would rather you did not suffer!.


Since then I went over to Netbeans 4.1.

ok thanx alot
