Hello Mobile Dudes,
I am working on a J2ME application for high end nokia phones with 3gp video. I need to be able to play a video file in FullScreen mode in LANDSCAPE orientation (same as what real player does in fullscreen mode). Cant find a solution for this. I think any of the options below can work. If anybody has any directions on any of the below is possible, I will be eternally grateful :

1. Launch RealPlayer and let it play the file. I have heard of using platformServices for this, but I cant have the video on the net. The video has to go with the J2ME app which means it is inside the JAR file. So is it possible to launch the realplayer from a J2ME app where it opens the video from the jar file :0

2. Any API available which can play video rotated at 90degrees?

Hi,

1) AFAIK this is not possible in J2me. But u may be able to do this in symbian c++.

2) This is not present in j2me.

Thanks for your reply Wang! Guess, I will settle with the normal video orientation with j2me for the moment and explore the c++ option in future.
