I am using N70 to capture image (1600x1200). Now i am not able to display the same 2MPixel Image on the screen, also i want to downsize the image and display it on the screen. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
Even I had the same problem. I found a work around for this problem on the forum. This will solve your problem only if you are using the images captured by this phone or cameras which create Exif-Jpeg. After mid 2004 almost all the cameras create images in Exif-Jpeg format. Theres is an inbuilt Thumbnail in the Exif-Jpeg. So you can figure out the starting and end point of the thumbnail in the image and display it on the phone. You will get a lot of code to create a thumbnail of an image. It works for small images but large images it throws an out of memory exception.(Atleast it did that in N91)
The jpeg image starts with a specific byte code and similarly ends also with a specific byte code. The thumbnail also has the same starting and ending byte-code. Hope this will help you out...
