Having acquired the 6310 drivers from Palm (eventually) I have successfully managed to get the Palm SMS software working over Bluetooth. But this has led to another problem - I now can't send messages from the phone itself. Has anyone else had this issue given that many now seem to have the Bluetooth functionality all up and running?

Several calls to Vodafone Ireland where of no help unfortunatly - they would like me to replace the SIM card. One interesting point though - The first time I tried to send a message using the Palm SMS software resulted in an error message - "Incorrect response from phone". I then downloaded funSMS and gave it a try - worked no problem. I tried the Palm SMS software again and then this worked no problem. It was after that I couldn't send from the phone and called Vodafone. The first thing they told me was that my profile was not enabled to send or receive messages - could this be as a result of using the Palm ...? I'm not sure.... I can still receive messages no problem...

My phone is a 6310 with v4.31 of the software, I'm using the Palm Bluetooth card and the lastest 6310 drivers that I got from the Palm website: http://www.palm.com/europe/mobile/drivers.html

Thanks in advance for any help..

Ciaran
