I'm tring to sign a midlet using Ascertia as a CA.
I followed nokia whitepaper concerning midlet signing and all indications I found on this forum. I istalled ascertia Root certificate on my N70 but during istallation i obtain an "authorization failed " error. So , any Ideas?? I'm thinking midlet has to be signed using only CA's certificate "embedded" on nokia phones, that is, Verising , baltimore,GEOtrust,Thawte..... Is it possible??? Emanuele |

The certificate has to be on the phone for the installation to succeed. It could be possible to add your own certificate to the phone, however it is not possible on S603rd Edition and Series 40 phones. Check some guidelines here http://browndrf.blogspot.com/2006/06...ed-midlet.html and look for more info on these boards.
