Hi all,
Does anyone know when will Jsr226 (svg) enabled devices ship? I was really hoping for first 3rd edition phones to ship with it... unfortunatelly, they don't... Oh us poor java developers... --Luís |

SVG API is available on Series 40 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 devices. The SDK was just released today and there are also compatible devices out in the market/published: 6125, 6126, 6131, 6136 (lead device), 6151, 6233, 6234.
It is also available on 6280/6282 and 7370, which are 3rd edition devices Hartti |

Will it come to N80 as well? (via a firmware update?)

thunder7553 - No, one cannot add new JSRs on current devices. There are some JSR specifications out there (e.g. JSR-232) which would allow that in the future devices at some point, but not yet.
