Hi!
Do you know if there is a way to konw if you have 2 (like S60) or 3 (like 6280) softkeys?

A workaround should be to know if mobile is a S60 or there is the center softkey:is possible?

I know that you can get the model by System.getProperty(..), but you have to update a table that match handset-S60 or not..

but usually that is maintained via platform implementation (s40 - two commands so left empty, etc), can you simply follow Nokia ui style guidelines docs about commands mapping?
i'm with adobe flash background where I have properties like: has4WayKeyAS, hasMappableSoftKeys, hasQwertyKeyboard so I also wondered about question you asked,

But I don't know on which platform I will install my application.
I'm writing a general midlet that can be adapted for any platform.
I'm not writing, for example, a midlet for S40 and another midlet for S60..

AFAIK there is no such systemproperty which gives u the series version ie; S60 or S40.
