how to display animated .gif ? -

hi guys ,
I am working on an application which had a task of displaying animated .gif files . I am working on Symbian OS9.1 Nokia devies , and Series 60 3rd edition SDK . Looking forward for your help !!!!!!!!! thanks & regards navjot

hi navjot,
but you should be more concrete about what programming platform you want to use, with J2mE I would simply use Sprite class that could be build from multiframed gif sequence (image saved as multiple frame stacked on the same layer - that is single file with all frames visible side by side) and then program it to have motion on screen (base technique in games in j2me) hth, regards, Peter
