Hi,
Since i have not seen such JSR, i am quite sure of the answer, but i am still curious to know.

Is there a Java-only solution to handle icons of the Symbian OS ?
ie., can we, for instance, replace the GPRS icon of the Phone ?

hi,

GRPS icon (I guess active connection icon dran in left/top corner) is provided by underlying system,
it's outside of current Java microedition (+additional api) capabilities yet, but who know,
:)
regards,
Peter
