Hi ,
any ideas for 'realtime\on-the-fly' audio encoding using any lossy compression technique and sending it over a tcp connection? Basically something similiar to a voice chat application. has anyone tried the feasibility of this ?

Streaming audio is not supported by the current audio module. You could record pieces of audio (like a few seconds at a time) and send those, but it's a clumsy solution.
